Premium Birdhouse Maker Kit

I was pretty happy with the presentation and instructions straight out of the box. I took some time to paint my pieces before putting it together, I think it came out so cute. My only complaint is that the hand screws suck and it took me so much time to find where they would actually hold up the birdhouse. I had to use a hammer to get them past the roof shingles. The window pieces and log stands are so cute I really had a blast building this.

Built this with my 9 yo grandson, he did most of it and I supervised. Looks really great and gave s good sense of accomplishment.

Got this for my 7 year old - he built it with his dad. Directions were super easy to follow, and the glue that comes with this kit is “the best glue in the world” and is being saved to use for future projects/repairs. The birdhouse itself is amazing, nicely designed with really nice details and they give you great pieces of wood. Will put polyurethane on it to waterproof but other wise I would highly recommend this!!!

This is a beautiful bird house kit. Everything is included, including the sandpaper. All you need is a hammer! We didn’t need to predrill anything as it was already done, and we didn’t have any pieces split when assembling it. Exceptional quality cedar wood too. We enjoyed putting it together. Highly recommended!!

I got this for my 5 year old son's birthday . He loves to build and make things so I figured this would be a great way we could build something together. He loves his bird house and wants to paint it next. I'm glad I bought this. I would recommend

Amazing kit. 9 yr old grandson and grandpa made this on a Saturday afternoon! The two were two peas in a pod..they loved the details and everything they needed was there. It was a great bonding experience and both had smiles from ear to ear..great memories just made!

This was a gift for a 6 year old, it was easy to assemble and was great quality!

My daughter and I had fun making a fairy house. It was easy and the instructions were clear. After we put it together we painted it. Then we printed some fairies with our printer and used modpodge to glue them to the house. We made sure to put some modpodge on the picture as well as under. Then we sprayed it with a clear coat protectant. We used the glue it came with to attach the butterflies, lights, and rabbit. We used paranoid to tie on the eye hooks. We are not putting it outside because it's too pretty not to enjoy in the house.

I added a hinged side door for annual cleaning. This would be a nice addition to the kit!

Quality control can be improved but in total a great project for my 8 year old.

I took my time, over several weeks, assembling this kit using screws I purchased at the hardware store, rather than nails. I also installed a hing on the back wall and a hook and eye latch so that the house can be opened for yearly cleaning. I placed the shingles with the silicon glue provided using a staggered approach and cut half-shingles using a coping saw where necessary. I finished the project with a coat of tung oil finish and clear coat for outdoor use. I mounted the bird house upon a straight piece of wood as a base with an L bracket, as you see in the picture, for mounting on a tree. I enjoyed this project very much. I was very satisfied with the kit. My compliments to the manufacturer. I am going to give the birdhouse as a gift to my daughter and her family for their yard.

Bought this for my daughter who likes to build things. We had fun putting it together and we currently have a bird family living in it. Lots of pieces in the kitchen, plenty to complete as you would like it. Good project to keep kiddos interested.

I bought this kit and thought it was a little expensive for what it is. Then I read the reviews after purchase and got a little worried.You can ignore all of the reviews that say the wood was warped and pieces did not fit together nicely. This is not true. I was very impressed with the quality of wood and it looks excellent when finished. Everything sat flush when nailed together with very minimal finish sanding.I had more than enough pieces for the shingles and decided to use the extra to put a little fence around the house.I highly recommend the kit and I'd say after completing it the price is on point for the quality.Building tips: I used a tiny drill bit to pre drill the nail holes on whatever piece of wood they would first be nailed in through. I did not experience any cracks.If I were to build it again, I would also glue the walls together in addition to the nails. I found that some nails backed themselves out when working on another wall. They are in there good once everything was assembled but using glue as well would add some peace of mind.

This birdhouse is so cute and was very easy to assemble. It was a fun day project and I wanted a birdhouse I could paint and make my own.

Great product for the money. We used rubber bands to hold in place for securing the glue overnight before hanging.

My husband really enjoyed building this little house. He built it and I painted it. The boards were a bit warped, but he was able to work around it. He also drilled small pilot holes for the nails to prevent splitting. It looks nice in our little front tree.. He said that despite the warped boards (reason for 4🌟), he highly recommends it.

Purchased to build with my 11 year old step son.We were able to complete without anyone’s help. The instructions were clear and had helpful photos.Turned out great!

Love something that actually comes with extra parts...everything should for those mistakes or issues that arise during assembly. Was fun painting /sealing with bird safe options.
